50+ followers... GIVEAWAY TIME CLOSED 2/04/11 12.00GMT

Hello I hope everyone is having a fab day... I certainly was when I logged in this morning and found I had exactly 50 followers! (and another when I logged in this afternoon!)
I want to thank each and every one of you my fabulous 50 (1)! For supporting me by reading my blog.
When I started I never imagined I'd get ANYONE to read my ramblings let alone comment and advise me on stuff. It started as an easy way to get my projects down in a more exiting way than in a sketchbook but I have learnt sooo much since!
As a thankyou I have put together a little giveaway!
As I am harping on about how to get balance in your wardrobe the giveaway includes a Dress Pattern, 2 skirt patterns, a top pattern and a Golden Hands magazine. I've tried to put in a range of sizes and era's too! So everyone has to practise their grading!
Butterick 9873 is a 1960s skirt and pullover pattern is a Size 14 Bust 34
Simplicity 6505 is a size 14 hip 39 A line Skirt. From the 60's
Vogue 7733 is a pattern that Vogue are still selling. This is a 6,8, 10 sized pattern
and finally brand new in the mail today is Simplicity Project Runway Dress 2644 Sized 8,10, 12, 14, 16!
I am opening this Giveaway until Thursday the 7th of April and will announce the results on the Friday.

So here is what you gotta do Chica's... First leave us a comment and tell me what your most worn and faithful project is. Next Re-blog about this giveaway on your own websites and/or blog and comment the link onto this post. Third... Have a big slice of cake and a cup of tea to celebrate with me. We deserve it!!!!

  1. a lovely idea to make a give away. I love blogs as they are a great oppertunity to support each other in our passions.

  2. Congrats for you 50 followeres! Well I guess my most worn project or projects are those that I have done for my daughter, she loves to wear them! for me I have done several but I don't wear them all as I pretended to do it when I sewed them. Now I will post in blog about this give away!

  3. Congrats on 50 followers! I think my most worn project would have to be the pair of lounge pants I made. I basically cut up an old pair of pajama pants then used the pieces as a pattern for a cute pair of cotton lounge pants to wear around the house. They feel more stylish than sweatpants for lounging about the house or studying for an exam :)

  4. Hi stevie,

there's a bloggers' fabric shopping trip coming up here in Brighton, organised by Karen from 'Did you make that?' on Sat 16th April. Email me at sozoblog (@) gmail dot com if you fancy it! Zoe xxx

  5. Lovely give away, I live in Denmark but I will love too wind.

  6. Congrats on making it to 50 followers and thank you for the giveaway. I'd love to be included.

  7. Hi, I'm a new follower! I found your blog through googling a McCall's pattern I wanted to try (6011) which you completed! What a treat to stumble onto a giveaway!

My most worn project(s) is a batch of dresses I made in high school that I'm still wearing!

  8. Well done you. Just found you through Sew Retro. My most worn projects are a few very simple A line skirts. No pattern used. Could definitely be improved though :)

  9. Congrats on your followers...great giveaway! My most worn item so far is my red/orange A-line skirt..i need to make more!

  10. My most worn item is a black jersey dress I made about 2 years ago, its not the most well made item but the most comfortable. Great blog, glad to have found you!

  11. I found you via Sew Retro,I visited Kuala Lumper a couple of years ago and bought some lovely Batik fabric which I made into a lovely summer skirt. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear it again(and again)!

  12. Many congratulations on having 50 followers. My favorite and most worn homemade outfit is a soft cotton floor length dress that I made for a theatre premiere ... a casual summer stock affair. Though not a girly girl, I chose a floral pattern in shades of blue with a bit of white and pink. It's a simplicity pattern I from my mom's old stash, circa 1979. I've received many compliments but what makes this a favorite is that it feels more like a nightgown than a gown.

Please enter me in your giveaway. Thank you.

  13. Congratulations on having 50 followers! Thanks for having a give-away! :)

  14. I can't pass up a giveaway. My most worn project is the jeans skirt I made from an old pair of jeans. So simple & gets worn all the time!
